Do any of you keep little mementos around from your childhood in your apartments and homes once you moved out? I have kept a dreamcatcher my mother brought back from a trip (I think from Arizona but I could be way off), that I have kept, and it still hangs on my bed post in my apartment. It is one those small things that I think will stay with me, and maybe, if I am lucky, can pass down to my daughter one day.

Aside from being beautiful, I love the idea behind the dreamcatchers. That being that all the dreams you have are caught in the web, and the good dreams would be allowed to filter back down the feathers, but all of the bad dreams are kept caught in the net. It's beauty is in the simplicity.

Product Review: Lulu Organic's Hair Powder

On my constant quest for the perfect dry shampoo, I have come across what is definitely the most delicious smelling one! Lulu Organic's Hair Powder in Lavender/Cleary Sage is hands down one of the best smelling hair products I have come across in ages. I always thought that a fragrance free dry shampoo would be the best, as not to add to many scents on top of one another- but clearly, I was wrong. This powder, which comes in both a full size (4 oz.) and a travel size (1 oz.) is the perfect remedy for day old (or day after for that matter...) hair that could use some freshening up!

I found that adding just a touch to roots on even clean hair can add a little extra volume, but where this powder really shines if after a workout when you don't have time to wash and dry your hair. This is where the delicate fragrance really comes in handy, and makes you smell extra clean and delicious!

Made with environmentally friendly products (including a ton which are USDA certified organic), this powder not only extends the life of our blowout, but makes you feel just a little bit better about yourself! So sprinkle, rub in, and enjoy!

Crazy for Ikat

Is anyone else obsessed with this amazing print? I bought a skirt last fall with an ikat print, and I am crazy for it. With a process similar to tie-dye, each piece is so unique- it is hard not to fall in love! This has been such a trend over the past year, and is definitely one I think could stay through the warmer seasons, especially since so many bright colors are used! Loves it!

Firefly Facials

Last week I was lucky enough to score an appointment with the amazing Adrienne at Firefly Facials and for someone who has lived a life of facial fear, this was a match made in heaven! Not only did I come out not looking beastly, I came out with soft smooth skin that actually glowed (very weird for those who know me in real life)!

To understand why I am so obsessed with this place, you have to check out their website. Their motto is "indie. urban. vintage. organic." Can they get any more cool? You walk into to the room and you see beautiful candles flickering and amazing indie bands playing- the mood is relaxing, but also a lot of fun!

The products used are all organic, featuring skincare products from the ilike line. And it should not go unsaid that the services are called absolutely delicious things, such as Milk & Cookies and Mud Pie. You simply cannot go wrong (especially when they believe that the things that go on your face should be good enough to eat!)!

Another plus? They have a super cool blog. Check it out here!!!

Bohemian Rhapsody: The Hair Edition

To continue on my bohemian kick, I thought I should represent one of the best parts of the bohemian look, the hair! I couldn't get my hair to grow this long if I actually tried, which is just a shame, because I love these looks!

I am also super excited for a Rock'n'Roll yoga class at Charm City Yoga tonight! It is a community class so it is open to everyone and is only $6 bucks (cash only)! Come join!!

Bohemian Rhapsody

Although I don't think I could ever pull off the bohemian look, there is something so carefree and luxurious about it, I often find myself wishing I wasn't so uptight when it comes to what I wear and how I do my hair. Do you ever find yourself wishing you could pull off a totally different look?
